Here I come again, after a week spend under the clear bright blue skies, in the open, in the wild.... almost. Well, it wasn't much of a wilderness, by Lake Atanasovo, Burgas, but it was a pretty place, full of nice people sharing the same ideas and caring for nature. We watched migrating birds and did quite a lot of job around the natural reserve Atanasovo, and along with that we had a lot of fun together. I found many new friends (as well as everyone else, I'm sure), and the nights we spent beside the campfire with a couple of guitars, playing and singing favourite songs and drinking beer.... I know I shall never forget. May it far not be the last time we spend like that. Because.... you know.... after I came back, yesterday, after all this time spent beneath the open sky, after the rains that poured over our tent, after all the wonderful time around the fire, after the thousands of pelicans and storks we saw circling above our heads, even after I had slept on the train floor.... I suddenly started to realize what it is really to be living. People should just feel this.

By the way, now, as I'm back, here's a bunch of photos (the ones I promised) from my last month's experience at Kavarna, more precisely from Kaliakra Cape, which we visited on the second day there. Hope you'll enjoy them.
Next looking forward to: the photos from the Seven Lakes of Rila, and....
Me, personally, I'm looking forward to departure once again. This time's destination: Varna; Brazen Abbot is about 2 weeks from now.

Unhappy New Year
It's January 1 2021, and you are not going to hear a "Happy New Year" from me today. Instead, I will take the time to tell you why. As it so happens yet again, there are multiple reasons, each more disturbing than the other. Consider that last as a warning and a disclaimer before you read on. The world has been changed and since I no longer can stand the violent propaganda conventional news, I sometimes brush upon the things said by various people in my relatives' limited social media circles - you know, just to keep track of things a bit and to observe the thought lines of what I consider to be my enemy: the hooman society. Know the enemy, as they say, and I find it important to measure and gauge the mindsets and attitudes of said society, and in particular the certain kinds of insanity that run more and more rampant these days. That's partially a lie of course, I actually search for the voice of reason.... albeit seldom it is to be heard these days. And so the following
The Cancer upon Earth
WARNING. This will be hard. I won't spare what I think. Every once in a while I have to argue with someone about the fact that what humanity is doing to the rest of the world is absolutely atrocious. Even people who generally agree and dislike what humanity is doing, often find that I am too radical in my views and feel the need to argue in various ways in defence of their species - which is perfectly natural, I understand. I understand the natural need to defend yourself and your point of view. I understand the natural aversion to see oneself and as monster, as the villain, as the calamity that brings destruction. But while you're doing so, what you forget is to look from the point of view of the other Living Beings on Earth. Over the years I've grown the ability to do so. To look at this world through their eyes - not through the human. The world that is equally also theirs, yet they are never given the chance to decide its fate anymore. Through those sorrowful, painful eyes, what
Crime against Nature
In regards to what I mentioned the other day.... I want to share, as much as I feel absolutely disgusted with what happened and with writing it.... However.... take this seriously: WARNING: This is going to be ugly. DO NOT READ ON if you are sensitive for Nature and Life, or the environment, or get easily overwhelmed by the human crimes against Nature. I'm not joking, do not ignore that warning, do not read on if you take such things too heavily. I know I did and I regretted for a while that I even know. I live in Bulgaria near a small town next to the capital. The district mayor for a second mandate now is a fairly young man, an engineer from one of the patriot parties, who got to the post thanks to the support of people for raising his nomination for the elections. My family supported him too, because he sounded reasonable and well-meant. I withdraw any and all support for him years ago already because he seems to believe that trees can only get in the way - along streets and
To our Members
Greetings everyone! I would like to make a little announcement and address some points that have come up so far in discussions here in the Group.
News & Future Plans
Within the past couple of weeks we have been recruiting people into the Group. It goes a bit slow at times, since we discovered there's a limit to the number of pending invitations at any given time. I plan to go promoting the Group more actively once the vacation season (August) is over, since a lot of people are actually away now and there's a measurable decrease in traffic on DA altogether, which is normal and happens every year. So we are hoping the group can grow more r
