Wolfheart

Another fantasy portrait. Werewolf.
At first I thought it would be a male, but now.... no, it's a female. No idea why I mention it.

Not sure what else to say.... I haven't drawn many wolves and I'm not so good at it yet. The nose was a pain until I got it right. It has a strange shape, at least felt strange to me. Cats agree more with me.... or maybe I'm just more used to them. (Actually their nose was strange at first as well. Noses are strange dammit XD ) What else.... Oh yes, the backlit fur. Awww, I love effects like this one. I think I can freely and boldly say I got it well this time. Other than that.... She wears a shadow as face.


References.... few partial refs, so to speak (for example, for the nose XD ). One for the moon.
I look up at photos to see how some details should go. I'm trying to cut myself loose from those refs. Fantasy is more powerful than the facts.
2B - 8B on A4. About 5 hours.
