Under cover

A Botia macracanthus among a school of Puntius tetrazona, from my mother's aquarium. Presumably a secret agent under cover amongst them XD 
A shot I had in my mind in advance and chased after, with an aquaristic photo contest in the back of my mind (which I won). I said "chasing after", and that's pretty literal, because the entire school, and especially the Botia, were constantly darting like crazy in all directions simultaneously. Having to chase them all around the not-so-small tank with my camera, and being obligated to only use the aquarium's light because I have no separate flash, what I had in my mind proved really tough to materialize. I must have shot over a 100 pictures just to get this one clear cadre with good focus and a composition which pleases me. Then I ran it through photoshop to refine the colors and remove countless artifacts from the glass and floating particles and finally get what you see.
