The Guardian 666

This seems like something usual for me already, but it is far not. I won't get into details why though.

Actually it's an idea which struck me so loooooooong ago back in the autumn.... I made the sketch back then (which I never uploaded although I did mention it once), and then.... well, time flew. You'd be surprised how many already-started-but-not-quite-nearly-finished ideas lurk in the dark corners of my drawers awaiting better inspirational climate. Frankly speaking, I was already afraid this one was dead, and then all of a sudden I made it come true. I'm glad I did though.
It came out far cleaner, lighter and more colorful than my usual color pencil drawings, but it is just the way it was supposed to be. One thing I learned lately (not only with this one): you can never have too many pentagrams in a drawing. Or too many light sources, lol XD Only the latter make life more difficult.
That's all I'll say. I'm tempted to elaborate the picture, but.... naaah, not this time. Just enjoy it.

P.S. Why the title. It would have been just "The Guardian", but there's also a story to it. Back in the day when I made the sketch, I took a picture of it so that I'd send it to a friend. The photo's number was 3666. I loved the coincidence and since I thought it also fit well, it just stuck.... and I decided to keep it.
