Jon Lord (9 June 1941 - 16 July 2012) from Deep Purple.
I drew this portrait for my mother. She virtually spent her entire life with their music, she just loves it so much.... And I was raised with it, DP was probably the first band I've ever listened to, so I completely understand that. So, yeah.... what can I say? One great musician without whom the world will never be the same again. So many of them have already left us.... May him rest in peace.

Jon Lord MADE Deep Purple what it is. Without the organ, they could have never achieved their legendary sound.
As a fellow pianist, I aspire to become just as great as Jon himself (Although we all know NO ONE can compete with Jon).
