Just a little something I did today. Random idea randomly brought into life in a random 10 minutes of my Sunday.
Every now and then I get pissed at some fantasy stuff that makes no sense logically (usually involves dragons.... or swords.... or both). Just because it's fantasy doesn't mean you have to totally disregard all logic. It's up to you, of course, you can create something totally ridiculous if you want to. But to me, logic is not a restriction or lack of imagination. In fact, it's exactly the opposite - because it takes serious imagination to logically explain fantasy. Besides, logic adds depth and authenticity to a fantasy world because otherwise it screams "that's by design" from all the loose ends, and at least to me that's freakin annoying.
But anyway, fantasy is up to you. Just as it's up to me whether I like it.
