Ersfjorden
So our next big trip was to Grøtfjord (Porridge Fjord.... please don't ask me), a place in one of the sub-peninsulas of Kvaløya (Whale Island). We would pass by Kaldfjorden (Cold Fjord) again to watch whales some, because you can just never have enough of that, then stop on the very end of Ersfjorden, drive all around mighty Storeblåmann (Big Blue Man), then across the sub-peninsula and to our final destination. One very exciting point, for me, in that journey was that near the end of it we would make a stop on a place from where there's a sight towards the open ocean. I'd never been to an ocean before this trip (my country is far from any oceans) so this was a must.
But first thing's first. Kaldfjorden in Kvaløya and whale watching in the beautiful snowy blue morning.

if I remember correctly this is where Jayme and I kayaked...loved this place and the fjord was so beautiful. This is a wonderful Panoram of the place.
